The BRIGHTskills consortium held its second General Assembly Meeting on 21–22 January 2026 at IESE Business School in Barcelona, bringing together consortium partners to assess progress, share insights and prepare for the upcoming activities. The meeting marked a key milestone as the project moves from strategic planning towards concrete actions.
As the partner leading Communication and Dissemination, Wise Angle plays a central role in the BRIGHTskills project by driving strategic outreach and stakeholder engagement. Through targeted communication activities and campaigns, Wise Angle has ensured that key outcomes, milestones and opportunities emerging from the project reach relevant audiences across Europe’s health industry ecosystem.
The General Assembly provided a valuable forum for partners to exchange perspectives on the evolving skills landscape of the health industry and to advance discussions on the development of the BRIGHTskills Skills Strategy for Europe’s health industry. Consortium members aligned on its mission and vision, reinforcing the project’s objective to better connect education and training systems with labour market needs.

Discussions also addressed persistent gaps in existing training provision, including limited access to practical, EU-focused learning opportunities and the rapid pace of technological change. Consortium members reviewed progress on the finalisation and piloting of new training courses designed to respond to urgent workforce needs and identified learning gaps. The courses, scheduled to launch in mid-May, will be delivered in hybrid formats, combining in-person sessions, live online and self-paced learning, while ensuring accessibility and high standards of quality and accreditation.
The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on the importance of industry engagement and large-scale collaboration. By fostering cooperation between education providers, industry leaders and key stakeholders, BRIGHTskills continues to strengthen the foundations for a resilient, skilled and future-ready health industry workforce across Europe.
