CHAIN launches to advance cardiovascular care through health data and AI

Led by the European Society of Cardiology, the project brings together European expertise, with WiseAngle supporting project management, communication and stakeholder engagement to help deliver lasting impact.

CHAIN is officially underway. Led by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European project aims to improve cardiovascular health and care through better use of health data and trustworthy artificial intelligence.

Its ambition extends beyond technology. CHAIN will connect clinical expertise, real-world health data, mature AI solutions, healthcare organisations, research and policy. Together, these contributions will create the conditions for AI-enabled cardiovascular care to be evaluated, adopted and responsibly scaled across different European health systems.

As AI capabilities evolve rapidly, strong scientific and clinical leadership is essential. CHAIN will address critical questions around evidence, trust, governance and equity, helping bridge the gap between technological potential and its responsible use in healthcare.

Wise Angle has worked alongside the CHAIN team since the early stages of the project’s development and will continue to contribute throughout implementation. Its role spans project management, communication and stakeholder engagement, supporting the project’s pathway towards lasting impact and sustainability.
