We are looking for a new teammate for our expanding projects and initiatives! Are you an experienced EU project manager? Do you enjoy working in multidisciplinary and international environments? Our ideal candidate is passionate about digital and social innovation, curious, open-minded and keen to explore new challenges. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing EU/international R&I projects and studies and contribute to the development of new project’s concepts, building partnerships and supporting clients in their grant application and management process.

Key activities

  • Design, develop and implement international R&I projects
  • Perform research activities and write grant proposals and reports in the field of digital and social innovation
  • Prepare offers for customers and bids for calls for tenders
  • Execute project management tasks on time ensuring quality standards are met
  • Prepare technical reports for funding authorities in collaboration with the Financial Manager
  • Scout funding and collaboration opportunities and coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals
  • Coordinate activities and tasks in EU projects ensuring that deliverables and milestones are completed on time and in line with quality requirements and budget constraints
  • Participate proactively in project consortium meetings either virtually or physically
  • Coordinate the organization of project meetings and events
  • Present information on project progress and outcomes
  • Prepare accurate presentations, infographics, and visual summaries
  • Foster dissemination and uptake of projects’ results on digital media and in events.

Skills and competencies

  • Social sciences and humanities (SSH), life sciences or ICT degree
  • Knowledge and experience of EU funding programmes and European R&I, ICT and health and care policies and initiatives
  • At least 4 years working in collaborative and multidisciplinary projects and initiatives related to health and social policies, digital health and social innovation or digital transformation of public services
  • Excellent writing skills and capacity to carry out studies and research tasks with a high degree of autonomy
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, planning and implementation of exploitation activities, business modelling and innovation management with a specific focus on innovative health and wellbeing solutions, products and services
  • Demonstrated knowledge in scientific communication and dissemination of project’s results
  • Mastery of techniques and tools for stakeholder engagement, participation and co-creation processes
  • Languages: fluent English is mandatory, Spanish and/or Italian preferred
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy, and time management
  • Negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility, proactivity and curiosity in undertaking new tasks
  • Desirable: knowledgeable social media expert and user

  • We have offices at the Barcelona Health Hub headquarters inside the amazing Recinte Modernista, Barcelona.
  • Travels: this position involves traveling nationally and internationally throughout Europe to networking events and consortium meetings.
  • Salary commensurate to profile and experience.
